More info: The Hook of Holland is a town in the southwestern corner of Holland , at the mouth of the New Waterway shipping canal which goes into the North Sea.
The wide sandy beach runs for approximately 18 kms to Scheveningen and is one of the nicest in the Netherlands. Along the promenade there are restaurants, bars and water sports centres/shops. The beach has a designated section for naturists. Separating the Hook of Holland from the beach there are extensive sand dunes and some light forest which are excellent for walking, biking and bird watching.
