More info: Polzeath beach is located just north of the Camel Estuary near Wadebridge in north Cornwall. At low tide the beautiful sandy beach extends around half a mile in all directions but at high tide it shrinks to just a small patch of sand in front of the village.

Polzeath has become a popular spot for surfing and has ideal conditions for those learning to surf. The area is rich in sealife and birdlife with dolphin sightings being common. Polzeath’s little sister beach, New Polzeath to the right of the bay, is a favoured location for swimming away from the surfboards and catches the last of the sun.

For those who enjoy walking, there is a nice easy 2 mile walk from the beach to nearby Daymer Bay and Rock which sit at the mouth of the Camel Estuary.
