More info: Linaria is a fishing village located 12 km south of Skyros Town. It is the main port of the island and has a lot of tourist activity during the summer.
Ferries arrive at Linaria port which connect the island with the other Sporades islands such as Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos (high season), and with the small town of Kimi on the island of Evia, and with this to the mainland of Greece.
In the tourist season there are excursions from the port of Linaria with caiques (small wooden boats) to the sea caves of Pentekali, Diatrypiti, Yerania and Spilia which can be found in the white chalk cliffs.
