More info: Tenby is one of the top seaside towns in Wales. Surrounded by an imposing medievil stone wall, it is steeped in ancient history. Attractions in Tenby include sheltered, sandy beaches and the coastal boat trips to Caldey Island. St Catherine's Island is tidal and the site of St Catherine's Fort a 19th-century Palmerston Fort.

A site not to be missed for many who adore visits to Tenby Harbour, locals and holiday-makers alike, is a visit on Boat Lift Day. Twice a year, heavy machinery is used to move the boats who call the harbour home. At the start of the summer season, the boats are lifted into the water and then at the end of the season, the boats are lifted out – both times make for a fascinating watch.
