GB News was launched in June 2021 and became Britain's first television news start-up since the launch of Sky News in 1988. It was initially launched by Andrew Neil with his ambition being to provide a 'straight-talking alternative' to other broadcasters.
Neil himself, however, left the channel just months after its debut but GB News soldiered on, with a loyal following of right-leaning viewers pledging their support to the media outlet.
GB News office headquarters are at Riverbank House in London, and it has studios at The Point building in the Paddington Basin area of the city.
