Barry Island is located in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan, seven miles south-west of Cardiff.
The webcam is located at the NCI (National Coastwatch) Nells Point (Barry Island) lookout station.
More info: Barry Island was a true island, separated from the mainland by Barry Sound, until in the 1880s when it was linked to the mainland as the town of Barry expanded.
