More info: Llandudno is a coastal town in Clwyd, North Wales and sits between the limestone headlands of Great Orme to the northwest and Little Orme to the east.
A Victorian favourite which was once called the 'Queen of Welsh resorts', Llandudno has kept much of its original charm which makes it such a popular holiday destination. The curving promenade along Llandudno Bay, the Victorian Pier and the cable-hauled Great Orme Tramway are just some of the attractions.
The Cable Car from the Happy Valley to the Great Orme Summit is over a mile each way, making it the longest Aerial Cabin Lift in the United Kingdom. The town also serves as a gateay to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
