Nederland is located near Barker Meadow Reservoir in the foothills of southwest Boulder County.
The live view is from Busey Brews Smokehouse and Brewery and shows the town, some of Eldora Ski area and Niwot Ridge and some of the Indian Peaks.

More info: Nederland is scenic mountain town, located 17 miles west of Boulder and is the gateway to the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area.
Nederland is so called because a Dutch mining company bought the Caribou Mill and Mine. They renamed the town Nederland around 1874. The town actually was an agricultural area supporting Central City, Black Hawk and the surrounding mines. It was also fortunate to see three different "strikes" renew the town. First it was Silver at Caribou Silver Mine, then Gold at Eldora and finally Tungsten.
